1. Student Behavior:

a. Students are not allowed in the P.E. facility or locker room unless in a Phys. Ed. class.

b. Gum is not allowed at any time in any P.E. class.

c. The safe school policy will be strictly enforced.

d. Class time lost due to field trips, excused absences, or excused tardies must be made

up by the requirements of each teacher.

e. Inappropriate language will not be allowed or tolerated.

 

2. P.E. Student Dress Code

 

a. Clothing with obscene language is not to be worn.

b. Shirts are to be full length, 1/2 T-shirts are not allowed and cannot contain any

alcohol or cigarette advertisement.

c. Transparent mesh garments are not allowed (football jerseys)

d. Any type of Horizon High School practice or athletic gear can not be worn.

e. All Participants must wear tennis shoes. (Rubber football / soccer cleats and

wrestling shoes are not allowed).

f. P.E. clothes must be different than what is worn during school.

g. For your safety, jewelry should not be worn at any time including rings, dangly ear

rings, long chains or necklaces.

h. All athletes will dress out on the day of your athletic competition.

 

3. P.E. offices:

 

a. Keep personal articles during class including jewelry, wallets, or money.

b. Students are not allowed to use the P.E. office phone unless an emergency.

c. Students must knock before entering any P.E. office.

 

 

4. P.E. Locker Room

a. Locker combinations are only reissued by your individual P.E. Instructor.

 

b. Large lockers are only for each individual P.E. class and are not for personnel use . If used as a personnel locker, your lock and clothes will be removed and placed in the P.E. office.

c. To prevent theft, students should not give combinations or share lockers with other

students.

d. All personal items / clothes, books etc. will not be allowed in the P.E. facility area.

All items must be kept in your P.E. locker or hall locker.

e. Due to possible theft, do not keep valuable jewelry or large amounts of money in

your P.E. Locker.

f. Report all thefts to your respective P.E. teacher and the campus supervisors.

g. All athletes must have a separate locker for P.E. and will not be allowed in the

athletic locker room without the permission of a P.E. staff member and or until 8th period, unless your coach has made special arrangements such as any game preparation or treatment of injuries.

h. Students will be assessed a replacement fine of $6.00 for lost, stolen, or misplaced

locks.

 

6. Injuries:

 

a. All injuries no matter how small must be reported to your perspective teacher.

b. For your safety all bleeding type injuries must be attended to immediately and

covered appropriately.
