I am currently beginning my 20th year in education. I have taught science in the Adams 12 Five Star School District for a total of 18 years with the majority of those years being at Horizon High School. Last year I am decided to embark on a new adventure and began my first year as a school counselor at HHS. I am so very excited to take on this new role in the place I have called home for 15 years. I earned my BA in Biology with an emphasis in Secondary Education from Metropolitan State University. I have also earned an MA in Educational Technology from the University of Colorado at Denver and have just completed a second Masters degree in School Counseling at Adams State University.
