Horizon DECA Lettering Requirements

The purpose of the Horizon DECA Letter Award is to provide recognition of Marketing Education students for their involvement in DECA; their leadership within the chapter, the school, and the community; their service to the school and the community; and their academic achievement.  To receive this award, a student must:

  1. be a member in good standing in Horizon and National DECA;

  2. have completed a minimum of three quarters of marketing education;

  3. participate in district conference;

  4. demonstrate eligibility to receive the award by submitting a completed Award application to the Letter Award Review Committee;

  5. have an overall G.P.A. of 2.5;

  6. and earn at least a B letter grade each semester in his/her Marketing Class

Additional requirements:

LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES   (applicant must earn a minimum of 60 points)
