Horizon High School is committed to excellence on all fronts — academic achievement, arts, athletics and co-curricular activities. Horizon balances a holistic liberal arts education with rigorous content-specific curriculum to equip students for success beyond graduation.

The SOAR program is a four year, comprehensive program which provides an accelerated, rigorous course load across three majors: Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts, and Math/Science.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is one of 547 school districts in the United States and Canada to earn a place on the 5th Annual AP District Honor Roll for increasing access to AP course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams.
