Staff wins prestigious Excellence in Teaching award

Staff wins prestigious Excellence in Teaching award

Stacy Muenzenmayer earned the prestigious Excellence in Teaching award from the Colorado Congress for Language Teachers at their Spring Conference on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She is a Spanish teacher and equity practitioner at Horizon High School as well as the district world language curriculum coordinator. Her principal Erica Fleeman stated that Stacy “creates an inclusive and integrated environment for students to be successful by listening to them and providing appropriate and challenging learning opportunities.” Clay Stansberry, the district K-12 Electives Coordinator said, “Stacy’s leadership in our district has had an impact on every World Language teacher and student through the recent development of a new district wide curriculum.” Congratulations to Stacy Muenzenmayer for a well-deserved honor!
