About Me:
A native of Colorado, I attended the University of Northern Colorado earning degrees in Music and Music Education. Fall 2020 is my first year at Horizon, and I am excited to be part of Hawk Nation! I serve as the Director of Orchestras and Assistant Director of Bands. In this capacity, I work with the Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, & Concert Band.
My main instrument is the French Horn, which I played in the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra at UNC. My professional memberships include the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), Colorado Bandmasters Association (CBA), National Band Association (NBA), and the American String Teachers Association (ASTA). I currently live in Longmont, CO, with my wife, two cats, and a new puppy. We enjoy getting outdoors to go camping, hiking, fishing, and skiing.
