In 2005, I began my teaching career in Indiana where I taught half-day kindergarten. At the end of that year, my husband and I moved to Colorado where I taught 2nd grade in inner-city Denver. Shortly thereafter, I made the transition to special education, having worked in both private and public school settings. The majority of my teaching career has been in elementary school. However, with my work and dedication to athletes who are involved in Special Olympics, I decided I very much wanted to teach individuals with significant needs. When I am not working or coaching Special Olympics, I stay very busy with my children and their activities. My son plays competitive soccer. My daughter also plays soccer, volleyball and takes acting classes. Besides going to their events, I very much enjoy reading, baking and playing soccer. The best way to contact me is through the website contact form or call me at 720-972-4581.
